The objective was to ensure that the complete pump set met the required hydraulic performance before dispatch, while giving the customer complete transparency into the testing process.

Our Approach
After receiving the pump for assembly, the VEMPL APOEM team completed all critical pre-testing activities within one working day, including:
- Precision impeller trimming
- Dynamic impeller balancing
- Mechanical seal fitment and inspection
- Assembly quality checks
- Alignment and final inspection
On the following day, the customer attended the Pump Performance Test (Witness Testing) at our in-house test facility.
Witness Testing Process
During the witness test, the customer observed the pump operating under controlled test conditions while our engineers demonstrated:
- Flow and head performance
- Motor load and power consumption
- Overall pump efficiency
- Stable vibration and smooth operation
- Mechanical seal performance
- Compliance with required operating parameters
The test results confirmed that the pump was performing as designed before dispatch.
Knowledge Sharing Beyond Testing
The visit also became an opportunity to showcase the capabilities of VEMPL’s Authorized Pumpset OEM (APOEM) facility.
